About Model Plane Zone
A marketplace built only for model aircraft and aviation collectibles.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Why MPZ exists
Model Plane Zone started from a familiar frustration. If you collect model aircraft, you know it already. You look for a particular model on a general marketplace. Instead of the diecast or kit you want, the results fill up with framed photos, postage stamps with planes on them and unrelated playing cards. The one model you came for sits pages deep, if it turns up at all. The search has no idea what scale, livery or edition you mean. Buyers who wanted a model never find it, and sellers who have exactly the right one cannot get it seen.
Model Plane Zone was built to fix that. It is a marketplace only for model aircraft and aviation collectibles, built by someone whose own shelves are very, very full, for people who know that feeling.
Made for how collectors buy
A specialist site can do things a general one cannot. On MPZ a listing is described in the terms that matter to you: manufacturer, scale, model, aircraft type, airline and livery, registration, edition and item code. Sellers describe condition too, down to the state of the box, the decals and the parts. They must describe what they sell truthfully and show the actual item.
Everything is in one place and easy to search. A rare livery or a long-discontinued mould sits in front of the people looking for it, not in a category that was never meant to hold it.
What you can do here
You can buy and sell diecast and scale model aircraft, plastic and resin kits, accessories, spare parts and aviation collectibles.
Browse or search the listings, check the seller's details and the item's condition, and pay through Stripe's checkout. A small service fee is added at checkout; our Terms and Conditions explain it. You can message a seller with a question before you buy. For many sellers, MPZ buys the shipping label through Sendcloud and its carriers, and you can follow tracked parcels from your order page.
Every listing shows whether the seller is a business seller or a private seller, based on what the seller has told us. If you buy from a business seller, you have the protection of EU consumer law, including in most cases a 14-day right to cancel. If you buy from a private seller, those consumer rights do not apply: the sale is a contract between you and that seller as private persons. Our Terms and Conditions explain what this means for you.
Selling on MPZ
If you have models to move, MPZ puts them in front of people who actually want them. Listing is simple and you set your own prices. Payouts go through Stripe. MPZ charges a fee on each sale; the Seller Terms explain how much.
You can sell as a private collector or as a business. Tell us which applies when you open your store. We show it on every listing so buyers know who they are dealing with.
Where MPZ is headed
MPZ is independent, small and still growing. Today it is open to buyers and sellers across the European Union. The aim is the same as on day one: to be the place where the model aircraft community buys and sells, run by someone who cares about the same things you do. If that sounds like your kind of marketplace, have a look around and join in.
